Below is a list of opportunities from June -September shared by Clubs that explain how your group or company can make an even greater impact through volunteer engagements. Please refer to the FAQ’s on the previous page for additional information. If you looking for opportunities to get involved with Clubs from October-January, those opportunities will become available to view in mid-late September.
As a reminder, BGCC graciously requests that A Club For Life partners donate programmatic costs for each engagement.
Non-ACFL partners are asked to donate programmatic costs for each engagement and a mutually agreed upon contribution to support the Club's impact within the community. Programmatic costs are inclusive of background check costs ($100 per volunteer) associated with the volunteer engagement.

JUNE
Description: To cap off the end of the school year, the Club is throwing an exciting End-of-Year Bash to recognize our Club members' hard work, celebrate their accomplishments, and kick off summer with a smile. Volunteers are invited to help bring the celebration to life by supporting carnival games, handing out prizes, serving food, and spreading joy to every child who walks through our doors.
Volunteers will play a key role in making this event unforgettable—and a financial contribution can help support event supplies and ensure the Club has everything needed to close the school year on a high note.

Volunteers will work alongside youth to encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, helping make each session an engaging and rewarding experience for all.

Description: Help us kick off summer with a sweet start! At the Rusu-McCartin Club, we’re welcoming over 100 Club members to the first day of summer camp with an Ice Cream Social designed to build friendships, spark joy, and create lasting memories. The Club would welcome an enthusiastic group of volunteers to help serve up scoops of fun by handing out ice cream, engaging with kids, and setting the tone for an exciting season ahead.
Your presence will help create a warm and welcoming environment that makes every camper feel special from day one. Volunteers will help make the start of Summer Camp even more memorable and a financial contribution can help offset the costs of materials and ensure the Club has the needed resources for an excellent Summer Camp.

Description: Join us on an artistic journey down the Yellow Brick Road! This summer at the Rusu-McCartin Club, youth will explore their creativity through an enchanting Animal Face Painting and Mask Making project inspired by the magical creatures of “The Land of Oz.” From courageous lions to curious monkeys, Club members will bring Oz to life through color, imagination, and self-expression.
We’re looking for volunteers to support young artists as they design and decorate their own animal masks and transform into their favorite Oz-inspired characters. Volunteers will assist with face painting, guide art activities, and help build confidence through creative exploration.

We’re seeking volunteers to help bring the fair to life by supervising activities, guiding participants through games, and ensuring a safe, spirited environment. Volunteers will encourage teamwork, and cheer on young adventurers as they explore the magical fairgrounds.

Description: This summer, CC’s Little Village Club is keeping young minds active and engaged through Summer Brain Gain, a fun, hands-on program that helps kids build academic skills, explore STEM concepts, and express themselves through art and creative projects.
We’re looking for volunteers to help bring these learning experiences to life! You might assist with small-group reading and writing activities, support a science experiment, or support Club members as they create their own art.
Volunteers will help with setup, guide youth through activities, and provide encouragement along the way. No teaching experience is needed, just a willingness to learn alongside the kids and support a positive, engaging environment.

AUGUST
Description: The Club is inviting volunteers to help support youth as they dive into the exciting world of robotics. During these robotics sessions, teams will compete in creative challenges ranging from simple robot coding competitions to fun, imaginative activities like building obstacle courses, designing colorful environments, or creating light shows.
No significant experience in robotics or coding is necessary—if you're comfortable using a smartphone, you’ll be able to jump in and have fun within minutes! Volunteers will work alongside youth to encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving, helping make each session an engaging and rewarding experience for all.
A financial contribution can also help provide essential supplies, equipment, and resources to keep the robotics program thriving.
